Job Requisition #: Maintenance Planner (Open) Job Description Key Responsibilities Plan, schedule, and coordinate corrective, preventive, predictive, and proactive maintenance activities with a focus on increased reliability and productivity. Gather and organize all necessary information and parts for maintenance work, including diagrams, manuals, and instructions. Identify problems by observing machinery operation, listening for issues, discussing with operators, and using testing instruments. Collaborate with maintenance team members to ensure timely completion of work orders and operational machinery. Manage spare parts inventory, ordering, and stock control. Develop or improve preventive maintenance tasks and schedules. Assist and guide junior maintenance staff. Follow all safety policies and participate in safety, housekeeping, and operational excellence programs. Perform other duties as assigned. Education and Experience Typically requires a high school diploma or equivalent, a technical certificate, and 6-8 years of relevant experience. Knowledge and Skills Ability to operate hand, power, and specialty tools and testing devices. Mechanical background and maintenance experience, with high-volume manufacturing experience a plus. Ability to read blueprints, diagrams, manuals, and drawings, and modify them if needed. Strong communication skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects efficiently. Excellent time management skills. Skill in estimating labor, materials, and skills required for tasks. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant software.
