Latin American Software Developer

Job Overview: Software engineers in this role are responsible for developing and testing bank chip programming for Latin America. Key Responsibilities: Develop proficiency in Java, C/C++, C#, Python, JavaScript, and other relevant programming languages to write clean, efficient, and maintainable code. Migrate legacy programs and reports to new technology following established guidelines. Collaborate with senior developers, team leaders, and cross-functional teams to understand and translate business requirements into technical specifications and design documents. Participate in the development of software applications, modules, and components, following established coding standards, best practices, and development methodologies. Conduct thorough testing and debugging of software components, identify and resolve issues, and ensure the delivery of high-quality, error-free code. Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to end-users, helping to identify and resolve software-related issues in a timely and professional manner. Qualifications: Recent graduate (2023 - 2024) in software engineering, computer science or any relevant field; and/or equivalent experience. Up to 1 year of experience in programming languages, reporting tools (Jasper), and databases (SQLite, Oracle, MariaDB, MySQL). Intermediate-advanced English proficiency, oral and written. Strong communicator and negotiator, analytical, results-oriented, customer-oriented, strong time manager, autonomous, honest, and empathetic.
