Director, Established Products & Sales MexicoDetermine, direct and control, in line with policies and compliance, the sales strategies to assure the achievement of established objectives (net sales, net margin, units and operating income). Responsible for the development and implementation of strategies, aligned with our mission to make the company evolve towards the expected model. Fully accountable for the pure generics business, private labels, governmental sales, as well as managing the entire commercial and trade team – face to the customer, both in distributors, and pharmacy chains, as well as other retail customers (including supermarkets, independent pharmacies, etc.).Job Responsibilities:Generate and implement strategies and projects to assure the achievement of sales, standard margin, and operating income objectives through a capable and motivated team with good communication enhancing teamwork.Develop and execute strategies to make the organization evolve towards the planed model to increase sales and profit coming from brands – both prescription-based and OTC.Contribute to the definition and execution of the portfolio strategy to assure a profitable long-term business.Administrate and control the commercial budgeted expenses to optimize its use and assure the achievement of sales and operating income objectives.Work with direct reports to assure the generation and implementation of annual development plans to identify needs and keep evolving as a high-performance team.Assure a robust decision-making process through the generation of commercial information and reports to assure the achievement of business KPI’s.Establish and strengthen Apotex’s positive image within the industry and with our main customers through visits, business reviews and participation in events (ANADIM, CANIFARMA, F. del Ahorro and FRAGUA annual conventions) that could generate benefits for the company in the Pharmaceutical industry.Establish fluid and constructive communication of the commercial team with other areas to enhance the decision-making process.Be an active and reliable source of relevant information (market intelligence) and guide discussions to help determine & execute a solid, short, and long term, strategy.Be a key sponsor of the IBP process, ensuring strict consistency in demand planning, whilst developing business models that enhance business predictability with key customers (e.g., Joint-Business Plan, long-term agreements), so as to mitigate the inherent volatility of the generics business.Continuously improve the incentive scheme for the commercial team, working transversally with the other business units (Consumer Health BU and Prescription BU) to optimize the “OneApotex” impact in the market.Work jointly with the Supply Chain team to secure critical deliveries are met on-time in-full, and aim at a continuous improvement of Fill-Rate and customer service.Develop a meritocratic, ambitious, high-performing organization who strives to achieve excellence and lead market trends – transform Apotex in a market maker.Recruits, trains, develops, and effectively manages the ongoing performance of their direct reports, which includes, but is no Limited to:Review and update development plans for all direct reports, ensuring that all direct reports are properly trained and qualified according to our Global Training and Employee Qualification Enterprise Policy.Job Requirements: Tertiary and postgraduate education in Life Sciences, Business, or a related discipline.Strong relationship-building skills with key external and internal stakeholdersAdvanced English.Over 10 years of commercial experience in OTC / Consumer Health / Pharmaceuticals or the FMCG industry.Offer Benefits of LawSuperior benefitsAnnual bonus
