Global Trade Coordinator

Our manufacturing facilities are spread across 14 countries: US, UK, Spain, Italy, India, South Africa, Vietnam, Indonesia, Thailand, China, Egypt, Brazil, Mexico & Australia. We are hiring an Import/Export Specialist. Candidates must be based Queretaro, México. This role reports directly to the Operations Manager. Key Responsibilities: Prepare import/export documentation (commercial invoices, packing lists, bill of lading - BL, certificates of origin). Coordinate customs clearance and compliance for Mexico and Honduras. Classify products with correct HTS codes and validate with customs brokers. Apply Incoterms and international trade regulations. Track shipments using ERP and/or Excel, providing real-time updates. Handle discrepancies or damages by coordinating claims with suppliers and insurers. Support logistics and purchasing teams with import/export insights. Requirements A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in import/export, international logistics, or foreign trade. Familiarity with Incoterms 2020 (EXW, FOB, DDP). Skill in ERP systems (preferably SAP) and documentation processes. Strong attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and organizational skills. Experience managing exports to Latin American countries preferred. Familiarity with FDA, COFEPRIS, and SEMARNAT regulations is desirable. An intermediate level of English.
