This position supports the recruiting team in sourcing, communication, and hiring efforts, while also coaching 5–12 soccer sessions per week. Success in this role requires strong organization, communication, and the ability to be both detail-oriented in recruiting tasks and energetic and engaging when working with children.This role is ideal for someone interested in recruiting, HR, or operations who also enjoys working with children in an active, hands‑on environment. You’ll support hiring efforts by managing candidate communication, scheduling, and sourcing—while also leading soccer sessions and stepping in as a coach when needed.Recruiting & Administrative ResponsibilitiesSend applicant questionnaires and manage candidate responsesCoordinate candidate communication and schedule interviewsAssist with job postings across platforms (Indeed, CareerPlug, Breezy)Help screen resumes and support interview processesTrack and update candidate notes and pipeline activityAssist with drafting job postings, offer letters, and hiring materialsAttend recruiting events (job fairs, college/high school outreach)Support general recruiting operations and hiring initiativesCoaching ResponsibilitiesCoach 5–12 soccer sessions per weekSubstitute for coaches as neededLead structured, engaging sessions for children (ages 18 months–10 years)Maintain a safe, positive, and high-energy environment during sessionsRequirements1 year of recruiting experienceExperience with recruiting platforms (Indeed, CareerPlug, Breezy)Willingness and availability to coach 5–12 sessions per weekStrong communication, organization, and time management skillsAbility to stay active and engage with children during sessionsReliable transportation (travel across San Diego County required)Ability to lift 40 lbsMinimum 1-year commitmentCertifications (required)TB test (per guidelines)Pediatric CPR certification (within 2 months of hire)Mandated Reporter Training (renewed every 2 years)Pay & Benefits$18–$22/hr DOE (part-time, 15–25 hours/week)401(k) with match after 90 daysMileage reimbursement (IRS rate)Cell phone stipend ($15–$30/month based on eligibility)Paid sick time and PTO (up to 4 weeks/year)Professional development and growth opportunitiesTuition reimbursement for Early Childhood Education unitsBonuses, profit share opportunities, and pay increases tied to performanceWe support team members in earning 12 ECE units through flexible, online courses.
