About the RoleWe are seeking a highly experienced and strategicHuman Resources Labor Relations Managerto lead and oversee all labor relations activities at our manufacturing plant in El Salto, Jalisco. This role plays a key part in maintaining a positive and productive work environment, ensuring compliance with local labor laws, and fostering strong relationships with union representatives and employees. The ideal candidate has extensive knowledge of Mexican labor regulations, proven experience in unionized environments, and the ability to partner closely with leadership to drive fair and effective labor relations strategies.Key Responsibilities Lead and manage all labor relations activities within the plant, including negotiations, collective bargaining agreements, and union interactions. Ensure full compliance with local labor laws, company policies, and collective agreements. Develop and maintain strong relationships with union leaders, employee representatives, and internal stakeholders. Act as a strategic advisor to plant leadership on labor relations matters, providing guidance and recommendations. Proactively identify potential labor relations issues and implement preventive strategies. Lead investigations, manage grievances, and support disciplinary processes to ensure fair and consistent application of policies. Support organizational changes, restructuring initiatives, and continuous improvement programs from a labor relations perspective. Partner with HR teams to align labor relations strategies with broader people and business objectives.Requirements Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Law, Industrial Relations, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred). 5+ years of experiencein Human Resources with a strong focus onlabor relationswithin a manufacturing environment. Proven experience working withunions and collective bargainingin Mexico. In-depth knowledge ofMexican labor lawand regulatory frameworks. Strong communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills. Ability to build trust and credibility with different stakeholders. Intermediate to advanced English level (written and spoken). Preferred Qualifications Experience in multinational manufacturing companies. Strategic thinking with the ability to execute tactical plans. High resilience, adaptability, and a collaborative leadership style.
