Engineering Manager

Your Job:We are looking for anEngineering Managerto lead and manage the engineering team in delivering high-quality designs, strategic projects, and technical solutions that meet business objectives. This role oversees engineering projects from concept through execution, ensuring timely delivery, budget adherence, and compliance with standards.Our Team:You’ll join the DSS division at Molex Guadalajara, collaborating with internal teams such as R&D, Production, Quality, and Supply Chain, as well as external vendors and contractors. Our team is focused on operational excellence, continuous improvement, and driving innovation in engineering processes.What You Will Do:Plan, organize, and direct engineering projects including design, development, and implementation Lead cross-functional teams to solve complex technical challenges Ensure adherence to engineering standards, codes, and best practices Monitor engineering performance metrics and implement improvements Manage vendor relationships and oversee external engineering resources Develop and maintain engineering documentation, including specifications and reports Facilitate risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies Drive continuous improvement initiatives in engineering processes and product designs Actively support 5S, EHS, Quality, and Lean programs Perform other duties as assigned by management Who You Are (Basic Qualifications):Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or related field) Minimum 5 years of progressive engineering experience with at least 2 years in a leadership role English proficiency at C1 level Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills High knowledge in root cause analysis, FMEA, and SPC What Will Put You Ahead:Advanced degree (Master’s or MBA) or professional certification (PE, PMP) Experience in a manufacturing environment and familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, and project management methodologies Proficiency with CAD software and engineering simulation tools Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards Who We Are:As a Koch company, Molex is a globally recognized provider of electronic solutions, enabling innovation in industries ranging from automotive to healthcare.
