Your Job: As the Operations Excellence Leader, you will champion the Molex Operating System within our manufacturing unit, driving continuous improvement and operational rigor. You’ll partner with cross-functional stakeholders to streamline processes, bolster performance metrics, and cultivate a robust pipeline of innovation projects that elevate safety, quality, delivery, cost, and inventory performance. Our Team: You will report to the Site Continuous Improvement Leader and collaborate closely with Production, Maintenance, Quality, and Supply Chain functions. Our division is committed to embedding a culture of operational excellence—leveraging lean methodologies and digital tools—to unlock sustainable efficiencies and empower frontline teams. What You Will Do: • Foster a culture of excellence by embedding people, process, and technology best practices • Coach and develop frontline leaders in problem-solving tools (Six Sigma, Kaizen, Gemba, TPM, RCA, Poka-Yoke) • Lead value-stream mapping, Gemba walks, and root-cause analyses to uncover and eliminate waste • Track and visualize unit KPIs; guide corrective actions to meet or exceed safety, quality, delivery, cost, and inventory targets • Drive a healthy innovation pipeline—balancing “just do it” quick wins, incremental improvements, and transformational projects • Facilitate rapid-improvement events and ensure timely follow-through on action items • Partner with maintenance, quality, production, and supply chain teams to deploy and sustain operational solutions • Develop and maintain dashboards, scorecards, and improvement playbooks to standardize performance tracking Who You Are (Basic Qualifications): • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Operations Management, or equivalent experience • 3–5 years of hands-on experience in a manufacturing or process environment • Proven track record leading Lean/Six Sigma initiatives; Green Belt certification or equivalent preferred •Experience with Microsoft Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate, or other process-mapping software • Strong proficiency in data analysis and performance-metric interpretation • Demonstrated ability to influence teams at all levels and lead cross-functional collaboration What Will Put You Ahead: • Prior success in deploying digital dashboards and visual-management systems • Experience coaching and mentoring frontline teams in standard work and continuous improvement • Familiarity with change management and communication planning in a manufacturing setting At Koch companies, we are entrepreneurs.
