Your Job: As a Project Manager supporting the Copper Solutions Business Unit (CSBU) at Molex, you will lead and coordinate projects that drive new product introductions and operational improvements. Your role is to deliver business projects on schedule, within scope and budget by leveraging project management best practices. You will manage cross-functional teams and apply continuous improvement methodologies to meet customer expectations and business goals. Our Team: You will be part of the Copper Solutions Business Unit (CSBU), a vital segment of Molex’s Datacom & Specialty Solutions (DSS) Division. The team specializes in the design and manufacture of high-speed copper connectors, raw cables, cable assemblies, and interconnect solutions, supporting high-performance data transmission and connectivity across diverse industries. What You Will Do: Lead end-to-end project management for new product introductions (NPI) and operational improvement initiatives, developing detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets aligned with strategic goals. Collaborate across R&D, manufacturing, quality, supply chain, and commercial teams to ensure timely and high-quality product launches. Support manufacturing and supply chain operations focusing on process optimization, capacity planning, and on-time customer delivery. Drive continuous improvement projects using Lean, Six Sigma, DMAIC, and other quality methodologies to reduce costs, improve quality, and increase throughput. Identify and manage project and operational risks, developing mitigation and contingency plans. Manage change controls related to product and process adjustments. Use data analytics and performance metrics to monitor project progress and operational KPIs; provide clear reporting to leadership. Facilitate communication and issue resolution across business unit leaders, finance, and segment teams. Provide project management expertise and mentoring to project team members and support organizational project policies and procedures. Who You Are (Basic Qualifications): Bachelor’s degree or a minimum of five years of relevant work experience. Minimum three years of experience applying project management methodologies and tools, with experience leading cross-functional project teams. Proficient in English with strong written and verbal communication skills. Strong knowledge of PMBOK concepts, including project charter, scope, and project plans. Proven analytical and critical thinking abilities with excellent organizational skills to keep projects on track. Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and remain flexible to changes. Understanding of Lean, Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement principles. Competent in using computer software including Microsoft Office and project management tools. What Will Put You Ahead: Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent. Experience managing complex or global projects, preferably in connectors, cables, or electronics industries. Knowledge of advanced quality methodologies such as APQP and PPAP. Familiarity with ERP systems like SAP. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills. Lean or Green Belt certification.
