Plant Finance Leader – Manufacturing (Mexico) Location: El Salto, Jalisco (On-site) Industry: Multinational Manufacturing Seniority Level: Manager / Finance Business Partner We are searching for a highly driven and analytical Finance Leader to join a strategic plant operation team within a leading global manufacturing organization. This role is critical to driving financial performance, controlling plant costs, and supporting key operational and capital investment decisions. Key Responsibilities: Lead the financial forecasting mindset shift—from AOP focus to dynamic cost control throughout the year. Support engineering in capex planning and execution. Manage plant capital financial control, including investment lookbacks and monthly reporting (AOP, DMAIC, Indirect, Capex, MDPO). Extract and analyze data using Power Steering for monthly reports by 3rd–4th working day. Implement financial analysis tools to monitor and improve plant performance. Partner with operations leaders to drive cost-reduction initiatives (waste, overtime, conversion, ship stock). Prepare business cases for capital investments and tax abatement negotiations with local authorities. Support the plant in SBU global financial processes (AOP, forecast X+Y, PCT, EADs). Lead/Co-lead finance team, provide CI support and verification of initiatives. Actively participate in KPI tree discussions and divisional reviews. Promote a culture of accountability and performance improvement aligned with plant optimization. Profile We’re Looking For: Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related fields ; MBA or relevant postgraduate is a plus. 5+ years of experience in manufacturing finance, with strong exposure to plant operations. Advanced knowledge of financial planning, analysis, business case modeling, and manufacturing cost control . Experience working with SAP , Hyperion , and performance tracking tools (e.g., Power Steering). Strong analytical and communication skills to influence operational decision-making. English proficiency: 80% or higher .
