Due to our international growth, we are looking for talented: Senior Bilingual Accountant Full-time, On Site: El Salto, Jalisco. We are looking for a highly skilled Cost Analyst with at least 5 years of experience in the manufacturing industry, preferably in the electronics sector. This role involves overseeing cost accounting and tax compliance for electronic manufacturing operations in Mexico. The ideal candidate will ensure accurate cost control, inventory valuation, and adherence to local tax regulations (SAT), while providing actionable financial insights to enhance production cost-efficiency—all within a bilingual (English/Spanish) environment. Key Responsibilities Cost Accounting (Primary Focus) Analyze standard vs. actual production costs (materials, labor, overhead); identify variances and implement corrective actions. Prepare cost-related financial reports (COGS, gross margin analysis) for local and global stakeholders. Reconcile tax-related accounts (e.g., VAT payable/receivable) and support transfer pricing documentation. Collaborate with operations to optimize waste, throughput, and production efficiency metrics. Tax Compliance & Financial Strategy Prepare and review tax returns in compliance with local fiscal regulations. Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely and accurate tax filings. Participate in the development and execution of financial strategies aimed at maximizing profitability. Multicultural experience (preferably with Chinese companies given the time difference).
