Manufacturing Financial Strategist

Finance Expert for Manufacturing We are seeking an experienced Finance Leader to join our plant operation team within a leading global manufacturing organization. This role is critical to driving financial performance, controlling plant costs, and supporting key operational and capital investment decisions. This position will lead the financial forecasting mindset shift from AOP focus to dynamic cost control throughout the year. The successful candidate will also support engineering in capex planning and execution, manage plant capital financial control, and extract and analyze data using Power Steering for monthly reports by 3rd–4th working day. Main Responsibilities: Drive financial performance through effective cost control and capital investment decisions. Support engineering in strategic planning and execution of capital expenditures. Manage plant financial controls, including investment lookbacks and monthly reporting. Analyze data using Power Steering to inform business decisions. Implement financial analysis tools to monitor and improve plant performance. Collaborate with operations leaders to drive cost-reduction initiatives. Promote a culture of accountability and performance improvement aligned with plant optimization. About You: Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA or relevant postgraduate is a plus. 5+ years of experience in manufacturing finance, with strong exposure to plant operations. Advanced knowledge of financial planning, analysis, business case modeling, and manufacturing cost control. Experience working with SAP, Hyperion, and performance tracking tools. Strong analytical and communication skills to influence operational decision-making. English proficiency: 80% or higher.
