Asset Management Specialist

Job Title: Fixed Assets Analyst The role of the Fixed Assets Analyst is to oversee all accounting activities related to fixed assets and capital expenditure projects. This includes asset capitalization, cost tracking, budget control, financial reporting, and ensuring compliance with local and international standards. Responsibilities: Ensure proper accounting and documentation of CAPEX projects in accordance with global accounting policies and applicable local regulations. Monitor and report on capital and operating expenditures, ensuring accurate segregation between capitalized and expensed costs. Maintain up-to-date cost and commitment reports to track project scope and financial performance. Coordinate project close-out activities, including asset capitalization and release to production. Support monthly reporting by reviewing project performance and CAPEX spending. Conduct physical verification of newly acquired fixed assets. Inspect ongoing projects to confirm their operational status and appropriate accounting treatment. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in accounting, project accounting, or auditing. Experience working with cross-functional teams and consolidating financial data from multiple sources. Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret complex financial data and identify improvement opportunities. Knowledge of Mexican GAAP and U.S. GAAP. Professional proficiency in English (spoken, written, and comprehension). Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in team environments.
