Your RoleJoin our team as a Process Engineer – Optics Transceivers at Molex Guadalajara and play a key role in driving continuous improvement across manufacturing processes within the Optical Connectivity / Optical Transceivers segment.In this position, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing manufacturing processes, while leading productivity, quality, and efficiency improvement initiatives in alignment with technical standards and the Quality Management System. Our OSBU team focuses on developing and strengthening capabilities in Optics & Connectivity, integrating new technologies, automation, and best‑in‑class manufacturing practices.We value individuals with strong analytical thinking, technical depth, and a passion for continuous improvement.What You Will DoDesign, deploy, and manage productive processes for the Optical Transceivers segment.Design, quote, optimize, and manage tooling and manufacturing peripherals.Document standard work processes and train production personnel in compliance with the Quality Management System (QMS).Lead line balancing initiatives and standard time improvement projects.Execute the technical implementation of engineering changes.Design and optimize manufacturing layouts.Introduce new technologies and methods into manufacturing processes.Actively support 5S, EHS, Quality, and Lean programs by following approved practices and procedures, participating in housekeeping activities, and identifying improvement opportunities.Fulfill the responsibilities and authorities defined in the control plans associated with this position.Perform other duties as assigned by management.Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.Minimum 3 years of experience in Process Engineering, New Product Introduction (NPI), or Product Engineering.Solid knowledge and experience in SMT or electromechanical assemblies.Proficiency in quality and problem‑solving tools (8D, PDCA, 5W).Strong statistical knowledge.Conversational English proficiency.Ability to meet the physical requirements of the position as defined in the functional job description.What Will Put You AheadExperience working with fiber optic, photonics, or optical/silicon photonics products.Automation background.Black Belt certification.Technical Project Management experience.Previous experience with electronic boards and optical assemblies.At Koch companies, we are entrepreneurs.
