Process Engineer, Network Losses , Central Functions - Rest of the World (RoW)

Overview Are you looking for the opportunity to create substantial impact on business profitability through reduction of business wastes in operations? The Network Losses (NL) reduction role spans RoW markets and focuses on reducing network losses arising from shrinkage, damage, concessions, or a combination of these within operations across the supply chain and in close collaboration with Fulfillment Centers (FC)/ transportation Operations, Amazon Customer Excellence Systems (ACES), Security & Loss Prevention (SL&P), Products, Customer Service (CS) and Resolutions CX (RCX) business partners. Responsibilities Develop deep understanding and hands-on experience of operational processes across supply chain. Deep dive and analyze operational data to identify root causes for losses; invent or replicate solutions and track impact. Improve operational processes by standardizing metrics, processes, and SOPs across RoW markets related to network losses. Drive product implementation in operations and/or operational process solutions to eliminate losses. Basic Qualifications 5+ years of Operations / process improvement experience with hands-on waste reduction. Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements in operations. Knowledge of analytical tools helpful. Experience owning end-to-end delivery and communicating results to senior leadership. Bachelor’s degree. Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, etc.). Fluency in Spanish and English (C1+). Preferred Qualifications 1+ years of performance metrics, process improvement or lean techniques experience.
