Material Procurement Specialist

About the Role Our organization is seeking a skilled Purchasing Specialist to ensure the efficient supply of materials and equipment. This role requires effective negotiation with suppliers, timely procurement processes, and maintenance of accurate inventory records. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and experience in managing purchasing operations. A degree in industrial engineering, logistics, or a related field is preferred, along with at least 3 years of relevant work experience. Key Responsibilities Negotiate prices, volumes, delivery times, packaging, and payment terms with suppliers. Manage the entire purchasing process from requisition to delivery, ensuring timely and cost-effective procurement. Maintain control over suppliers, update systems, and track orders to guarantee seamless inventory management. Verify supplier catalog updates, monitor RTV and credit notes, and support quality teams as needed. Required Skills and Qualifications Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, logistics, or a related field. At least 3 years of experience in purchasing or a related field. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and negotiation abilities. Proficiency in MRP/ERP system management. Advanced Excel skills. Fluency in English.
