Bank and Financial Services Global Company is looking for an IT Sr. Manager (Life Insurance Business Unit). What do you need? Experience and knowledge on Insurance products in Mexico market, particularly Life Insurance. Technical knowledge of new and old technologies and architecture patterns. At least 15 years of working experience in IT, 5-8 years in management. Proven record in directing and coordinating large‑scale projects and delivery within time, resources and budget constraints. Technical Skills Oracle, Cloud, iSeries, COBOL, Java, SOA. Responsibilities Drive the successful and on‑time development of IT projects within budget, with specific focus on digital transformation. Manage all IT deliverables (design, development, implementation and maintenance of highly complex and critical banking IT systems for regional or local business units). Lead DevOps / Agile teams to ensure successful development and implementation of IT projects. Coordinate the activities of IT project teams, user departments, other service departments and external parties such as software and hardware suppliers, other financial institutions and bank customers. Manage staff development, assessment, training, motivation, discipline, recruitment and retention to promote the highest professional standards. Manage the relationship with senior business stakeholders across Mexico and the regional/global insurance business, including CEO, COO & CRAO. Soft Skills Excellent planning and organization skills, including tracking and following up on actions. Excellent communication, interpersonal and negotiating skills, focusing on remote and written communications, and experience interacting with higher positions. Experience working with diverse groups and individuals. Good English level for basic conversations with a global team. Strong people skills: change agent, decision making, influencing, management, communication.
