Job Information TheProductionSupervisor-Paintisresponsiblefortestingandmakingnecessaryadjustmentstomaintainintegrityofthepaint,pre-treatandwastewatersystems,anddirectingofpaintlinepersonnelonanassignedshift. Role & Responsibility Willbeexpectedtoclearallconveyors,Loweratorsandpaint-relatedproblemsthroughsystemictroubleshootingandproblemsolvingtominimizeimpactonotherdepartments. Keeppre-treatment,EcoatandPowderCoatingsystemsrunningwithinoptimalefficiencies. Maintainwastewaterdischargetocomplywithstateandlocalregulations. PrepareandmaintainreportsandrecordrequiredforEPAreporting. DepartmentAdministration: Arrangeformaintenanceofmachines,equipmentandfacilitiesinPaintdepartment. Mayestimate,requisition,andinspectmaterialscomingintothedepartment. Responsibleforkeepingdepartmentcostswithinbudgetarylimits,i.e.scrap,overtime,reworkandconsumableitems. Responsibleformaintaininggoodhousekeeping,performingdailyandweeklysafetyauditsandmonthlysafetymeetings,toensureasafeworkingenvironmentforallemployees. Responsibleforreportingallshiftmaineventsrelatedto:Safety,Quality,Delivery(Meetproductionscheduleseveryhour),CostandPeople. Managedailyassociates'attendanceandjobassignments. UseProblemSolvingTechniquestoimproveKPIsperformance Scheduletheassignedmanpowerandequipmenttomeetproductionneeds. Keepdepartmentcostswithinbudgetarylimits. Maintaingoodhousekeepingandsafeworkingconditionswithindepartment. Coordinateeffortswithalldepartmentsupervisorstoachievecompanyobjectives. CollaboratewiththeTeamtoimplementDBPSperCompanytargets Providequalitycostimprovementideasanddatatoreducecostandimprovequality. Performqualitytestsonpainttooptimizeperformanceandquality. Assureallteammembers/associatescomplywith5S´sStandards,PPEandSafetyStandardsfrombeginningtoendofshift. Approveovertimeonanasneededbasis. Directandtrainmanpowertomeetproductionschedules,whileattainingefficienthourbyhourrecordswithactionstakentoassurecompliancetotargetsandmaintainingandimprovingoverallqualityoftheproduct. MaintainagoodworkingknowledgeofcompanypoliciesandregulationsinordertoadministerdisciplineofemployeeswithinPaintDepartment,inaccordancewithprogressivedisciplineprocedures. Performothersuchrelatedorsimilardutiesasmaybeassigned. Administerandinterpretcompany'volvementinGrievanceProcedure.
