Global Tax Strategy Lead

About the Role This senior position oversees tax-related functions for the organization, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. The role requires aligning financial accounting and tax processes with global standards and ensuring compliance with local and international regulations. Key Responsibilities Tax Planning and Compliance : Develop a comprehensive tax optimization plan for all regions of the organization, ensuring compliance with local laws. Risk Management : Identify and minimize tax-related risks concerning Transfer Pricing, M&A, and other statutory areas. Tax Alignment : Ensure alignment between the organization's reported earnings and its tax commitments. Tax Consultancy : Manage all tax-related matters, acting as a key consultant to regions and representing the organization in dealings with external auditors and compliance agencies. Financial Reporting : Oversee the preparation of consolidated financial statements for global operations in accordance with GAAP, IFRS, and relevant local accounting standards. Compliance : Monitor and ensure compliance with local tax laws, regulatory requirements, and financial reporting standards in all jurisdictions where the company operates. Tax Returns : Coordinate the preparation and filing of tax returns, VAT/GST, and other local regulatory filings in multiple countries. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field. Master's degree in accounting, Business, or equivalent. 15+ years of experience in Business Administration and Accounting. 8+ years of experience in similar positions and Manufacturing. 10+ years of experience in Taxation. 5+ years of experience in the Automotive Industry. Technical skills: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel), SAP. Soft skills: Building Network, Adaptability, Decisiveness. Advanced English proficiency.
