Cybersecurity Expert for IT Infrastructure Protection

Job Description Our organization seeks a skilled Cybersecurity Specialist to implement end-to-end Information Security and IT Risk Management strategies, ensuring the protection of IT systems and architecture from cybersecurity threats. The successful candidate will serve as an entry or intermediate level expert in key cybersecurity functions such as Identify, Protect, Detect, Response, and Recover. Main Responsibilities: Cybersecurity Controls and Policies: Implement and maintain robust cybersecurity controls and policies to safeguard our organization's IT infrastructure. Risk Assessment and Remediation: Conduct thorough risk assessments and manage risk remediation activities to mitigate potential threats. Security Incident Handling: Monitor, investigate, and document security incidents to ensure prompt response and resolution. Compliance and Audit Readiness: Support compliance efforts and ensure audit readiness by maintaining up-to-date records and documentation. Security Awareness and Training: Lead security awareness programs and provide on-site training to enhance employees' cybersecurity knowledge and skills. 24/7 Security Monitoring: Operate 24/7 security monitoring and vulnerability management to identify and address potential threats promptly. Penetration Testing and Disaster Recovery: Coordinate penetration testing and disaster recovery planning to ensure business continuity and minimize downtime. Requirements and Qualifications: Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Experience: 3+ years of experience in areas related to the position. Language Skills: Proficiency in English language (verbal and written). Key Skills: Excellent consulting, problem-solving, and analytical skills; knowledge of Azure, Cisco, OWASP, Wireshark, Linux, Nmap.
