Project Purchasing Specialist - Part Family Management Full-time position Promote and support the establishment of a reliable and competitive local supply base. Participate actively in defining product-related supplier strategies. Manage procurement activities for platform and application projects, including target cost setting. Ensure achievement of quality, cost, and delivery targets. Prepare supplier selection processes, including RFQ, supplier evaluation, communication, and sourcing decisions. Interface with: Central Purchasing, material field-related purchasing, quality, engineering, and Business Units. Ensure preventive quality planning (PQP) for project-specific new parts and coordinate their release. Promote and support RPP activities. Manage change processes for procured parts. Support series production and after-market activities when needed. Travel domestically and internationally up to 30% Qualifications Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Mechanical Engineering. At least 5 years of experience related to the quality of purchasing parts in an automotive environment. Minimum of 2 years in commercial and technical project management. Advanced English skills. Knowledge of Plastic Components / Machined Components . Experience in product costing. Proficiency in managing SAP system. Analytical and structured approach. Ability to work independently, highly motivated, results-oriented. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to develop networks within complex company cultures. Strong presentation skills. Minimum of 5 years in automotive industry quality-related roles. #J-18808-Ljbffr
