As we continue to expand, we are seeking a Legal Assistant to join our team!In this role, you will provide essential support to our clients attorneys by managing office tasks, preparing legal documents, and facilitating communication with clients and courts. Your organizational skills and attention to detail will be key to ensuring that our operations run smoothly. Curious what your day would look like as a Legal Assistant? Check out the details below!Key Responsibilities: Prepare, format, and file legal documents with courts and administrative bodies. Conduct research on legal issues and regulations to assist attorneys in case preparation. Manage attorney schedules, including meetings, court dates, and deadlines. Communicate with clients, witnesses, and experts to gather information and updates. Maintain organized case files, both physical and electronic, ensuring all documents are secure and accessible. Assist with the discovery process including document review and preparation. Perform administrative tasks, including billing, correspondence, and data entry. Support attorneys in trial preparation, organizing exhibits, and preparing trial materials. Stay updated on legal updates and changes relevant to the practice area. Requirements A minimum of 1-2 years of experience as a legal assistant or in a similar role is required. Basic understanding of legal terminology and documentation. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and legal research tools. Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Attention to detail and commitment to confidentiality. Familiarity with case management software is a plus.
