We're looking for a highly experienced and dedicatedLitigation Associate to join our team. As a Litigation Associate (Licensed Lawyer), you'll be crucial in managing referral relationships, drafting legal motions, and providing comprehensive legal support to our esteemed legal team. This role requires a strong background in personal injury law , exceptional communication skills, proficiency in handling numerical data, and expertise in legal motion drafting. Your contributions will directly impact the firm's reputation for excellence, client satisfaction, and accurate case management. Work Setup This is an onsite position at the firm’s office location in Guadalajara.Duties and Responsibilities: Referral Management: Develop and nurture strong relationships with external partners, including medical professionals, insurance agents, and referral sources, to facilitate a consistent influx of cases. Utilize exceptional communication skills to establish trust within the legal community. Legal Support: Provide comprehensive legal assistance to attorneys in personal injury cases, including legal research, document drafting, preparation of legal pleadings, and correspondence. Draft and review motions: Prepare clear, concise, and well-researched legal motions, including motions to dismiss, summary judgment motions, and procedural requests, ensuring accuracy, adherence to legal standards, and alignment with case strategies. Leverage your Bar passage to contribute effectively to case strategies and legal proceedings. Numerical Proficiency: Utilize strong numerical skills to manage financial aspects of personal injury cases, such as settlement calculations, medical bill analysis, and ensuring accurate record-keeping. Client Engagement: Act as a liaison between clients, referral partners, and our legal team. Effectively communicate the firm’s capabilities and dedication to exceptional client service. Communication Excellence: Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills, maintaining clarity and accuracy in all correspondence with clients, referral partners, and internal team members. Document Management: Organize and maintain case files, ensuring all relevant documentation is correctly filed and accessible to the legal team. Client Support: Provide responsive and compassionate support to clients, addressing inquiries, keeping them informed about case progress, and ensuring their needs are met. Collaborative Dynamics: Collaborate closely with attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to ensure cohesive case management and excellent client representation. Maintaining Confidentiality: Uphold the highest standards of client confidentiality and ethical conduct in all interactions and tasks. Skills and Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Law, Juris Doctor, or a related field. Successful completion of the Mexican Bar exam (Cédula Profesional) with demonstrated legal practice experience. Proven proficiency in personal injury law, gained through relevant work experience in litigation or a similar legal setting (Required). Experience in drafting and filing legal motions, including motions to dismiss, summary judgment motions, and procedural motions, with a comprehensive understanding of procedural requirements (Required). Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. Strong organizational abilities and meticulous attention to detail. Proficiency in legal research, document preparation, and numerical calculations. Compassionate and client-focused demeanor. Ethical conduct and the ability to handle sensitive information discreetly. Proficiency in legal software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
