**_Purpose of the Role_**- The role is leading the Technical Services function consisting of Design and Engineering teams, tasked with ensuring best in class hotel renovations, relevant to local market and brand standards. This role oversees the delivery of all the activities, systems, processes and interactions from deal signing to opening of the properties._**Key Accountabilities**- Support the Technical services team in the Americas & LATAM for Six Senses ensuring the right systems and processes are developed and implemented by the team to ensure the successful conversions and renovations of Six Senses hotels.- Work with the team to ensure that D&E is cost efficient and that design briefs, brand standards and technical service fees are positioned with the Owner offering to ensure high value and support.- Maintain and improve D&E process in region in the support of projects through all stages of design and construction from feasibility assessment through design, construction and delivery to our operating teams and owner groups.- Provide support to the Development function to secure additional hotel pipeline of both new builds, conversations or re-brandings.- Provide cross functional support to the Brand function to evolve, develop and refine design, build and operate standards.- Be the Six Senses brand custodian, delivered through technical services aspects such as sourcing of materials, suppliers etc and work in collaboration with the sustainability function to ensure the brand ethos is delivered throughout the design & renovation processes- Coach and develop team members across D&E to ensure all the team members are equipped with the necessary skills, knowledge and experience to drive successful opening as well as owner advocacy.**Education**:- Bachelor or Master’s degree in Architecture and Design, Business, Finance, Real Estate, Hospitality or related disciplines or equivalent combination of education and experience.**Critical Expertise & Experience**:- Demonstrated experience / progressive work-related experience in real estate development, hospitality, design, construction or related profession with demonstrated proficiency in multiple disciplines preferably in the hotel industry.- Excellent business acumen and track record, excellent organizational, negotiation, influencing and communication skills- Leadership ability with strategic view & able to deliver and execute through geographically diverse teams with deep technical knowledge- Experience and adaptability across Multinational and multi-cultural environments- Excellence Owner management skills and influencing with impact skills- Fluent in English & Spanish (add languages are advantages)At IHG, we’ve made a promise.
