About the role A talented Data Operations specialist is required to join our team. This individual will have a unique opportunity to work collaboratively with data tech teams, developing solutions that deliver rapid value to customers. Key responsibilities include ensuring data quality and consistency, managing processes and systems to monitor data accuracy, and maintaining high availability of data pipelines. Additionally, this role requires adhering to data security and privacy policies, including access controls, key management, and encryption techniques. The ideal candidate will possess experience working with modern tech stacks, such as Linux, iOS, Ruby, Python, AWS, Apache, MongoDB, Redshift, Snowflake, Fivetran, and API services. Proficiency in advanced operating systems and programming languages is also essential for optimizing performance using Linux/iOS/JavaScript/Python/Ruby. Furthermore, the successful candidate will have experience working with business intelligence platforms like Looker and Tableau, as well as optimized and efficient data loader ETL pipelines using Databricks and Snowflake. Experience with fully automated workflow scheduling and orchestration services like Apache Airflow is also highly desirable. This role also requires the ability to deploy CI/CD pipelines using GitHub or Jenkins, along with excellent communication skills and the capacity to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. Strong analytical and technical skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities are also essential for success in this position.
