Advanced Numerical Analyst

About the role We are looking for passionate and experienced calculation engine developers to serve as vital members of our Modeling, Analysis, Simulation and Computation (MASC) team based in Shanghai, China. The MASC team is responsible for developing and deploying best-in-class calculation platforms to promote sales volume. Key Responsibilities: As a developer, you'll be responsible for: · Developing state-of-the-art calculation engines to promote sales volume. · Communicating with marketing, product engineering, and global teams to understand customer needs from different perspectives. · Providing heat transfer and thermodynamics expertise and working with optimization engineers to develop advanced algorithms to assist sales personnel in providing best solutions to customers. Requirements We are looking for individuals who hold a Master's degree or higher. If this is you, we'd love to hear from you. As a minimum, you must have: · A Master's degree or PhD in thermal, refrigeration and air-conditioning or fluid machinery with 2+ years of experience. · Strong background in heat transfer, thermodynamics, and numerical analysis, understanding the mechanism of numerical computation methods for non-linear equation groups. · Programming experience in Python, Modelica, C++, Fortran, or related languages. · Engineering experience in design or application of HVAC/R or Power plant equipment. · Strong verbal and written communication skills. · Ability to collaborate across functions. · Ability to think independently while working effectively in a collaborative team environment. · Experience in developing and implementing algorithms to solve large nonlinear algebraic equation systems or differential equation systems.
