Job Title: Production Systems Manager We are seeking a highly skilled Production Systems Manager to lead our integrated production and service delivery systems. This role involves planning, designing, implementing, and managing these systems to ensure performance, reliability, maintainability, schedule adherence, and cost control. Key Responsibilities: This position will direct and implement unique and challenging projects that eliminate waste through standard industrial engineering processes. You will critically evaluate large-scale challenges in multiple workforce utilization, facility layout, and operational data such as production costs, process flow charts, and end-to-end value stream analysis to determine efficient utilization and effectiveness of workers and equipment. The successful candidate will lead cross-functional projects with broad knowledge of various functions outside of industrial engineering to optimize complex large-scale projects. You will serve as a Subject Matter Expert in all global and regional IE systems and applications. You will communicate key Industrial Engineering metrics to all regional teams. You will clarify and define the standardization of SAP and Manufacturing Execution System configurations. You will prepare complex quotes for new proposed large scale manufacturing, including end-to-end line design, VA labor, DL, and equipment sizing, capital, building infrastructure additions, etc. You will support, assist, and advise Business Unit Coordinators and Business Unit Managers, and Site Management on new and actual processes reliability, profitability, and accuracy of new project assumptions. You will lead process improvement related activities for New Product Introduction. You will coach, mentor, and train engineers within the Industrial Engineering team and other functional engineering teams as needed. You will support and/or maintain all lower-level Industrial Engineering essential duties and responsibilities. You will ensure the standardization of Jabil processes throughout the site in accordance with the global, regional, and site direction. You will develop new IE best practices with supporting data to Regional and Global IE teams to optimize existing best practices. You will support the Lean organization by developing a solid process foundation and data integrity in order to support process improvement through the organization. You will comply and follow all procedures within the company security policy. Management & Supervisory Responsibilities: This role typically reports to management or leadership. Direct supervisor job titles typically include: Sr. Manager, Director, VP. This role is not directly responsible for managing other employees (e.g., hiring/termination and/or pay decisions, performance management). Job Qualifications: Knowledge Requirements: Key Requirements: Broad understanding and application of industrial engineering tools (ie. Work measurement, simulation, process mapping, facilities and workstation design, operations research, etc.). Understanding of global strategies and direction. Data Science skillsets preferred. Understanding of site's facilities, capabilities, and how they tie back to the global strategies and direction. Strong financial and analytical ability: P&L, Planning, Delivery. Proven record of accomplishment of successful change management accomplishments, implementing and managing continuous improvements and cost reduction programs. Strong communication skills. Knowledge and understanding of Health and Safety standards & requirements. Understanding of Quality Systems applied to internal manufacturing processes. Proficiency in use of personal computers, Microsoft Office products, Microsoft Visio, Microsoft Project, and AutoCAD skills required. Education & Experience Requirements: Degree in Industrial Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering required. MS in Industrial Engineering or MBA preferred. Lean Masters Certificate or Six Sigma Silver preferred. At least 12 years of working experience with 7 years of experience in industrial Engineering or related field. Or an equivalent combination of education, training or experience.
