Algorithm Developer - Thermal Systems Specialist

**Job Opportunity:** Calculation Engine Engineer As a calculation engine engineer, you will be responsible for developing and implementing state-of-the-art algorithms to assist the sales team in providing the best solutions to customers. Key Responsibilities: Design and develop advanced calculation engines using numerical analysis and heat transfer expertise. Collaborate with marketing, product engineering, and global teams to understand customer needs from different perspectives. Work with optimization engineers to develop algorithms that promote Carrier sales volume. Requirements: Master's or PhD degree in thermal, refrigeration, and air-conditioning, or fluid machinery, with 2+ years of experience. Strong background in heat transfer, thermodynamics, and numerical analysis. Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Modelica, C++, Fortran, or related languages. Experience in designing or applying HVAC/R or power plant equipment. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to collaborate across functions and think independently. Experience in developing/implementing algorithms to solve large nonlinear algebraic equation systems or differential equation systems.
