Job Description - Senior Python Agent Engineer Suplari, a leader in collaborative and autonomous AI Agents for finance and procurement professionals, is seeking an experienced and product-centric senior Python Agent Engineer to work across our Engineering and Customer Success teams. The right candidate is passionate about delivering innovative solutions to business customers. In this role, you will design, build, and implement scalable, secure, and innovative AI-driven solutions by collaborating with Engineers, customers, and CSMs. You will design and own the data pipelines and data access mechanisms that power our agentic solutions. The right candidate is creative, self-motivated, experienced at applying an agile-mindset, and has a track record of working with disparate and complex data to enable the application of AI in software systems. Responsibilities Apply your years of experience in Python to deliver data-driven capability to customers and to automate and streamline all data flows across our solution, from customer source systems to agent-based end user analytics Implement feature extraction, transformations, and normalization processes as a part of our software engineering and data science team Deliver compelling new services that extend Agent capabilities and value Ensure the security, integrity, and privacy of all data used within Suplari Apply ML Ops and prompt engineering in Generative AI / retrieval augmented generation patterns Implement agents and tooling using agent frameworks like LangGraph and OpenAI APIs Collaborate with customer success managers, product managers, software engineers, data scientists, and other members of the team to deliver impactful solutions Evaluate technologies and design patterns we can adopt so as to improve the Suplari offerings Consult and assist with automating solutions for enterprise customer operational requirements around data handling Be an active member of our team, bringing a growth mindset, customer orientation, and a bias for automation Position Requirements 6+ years experience with Python developing product solutions in a commercial SaaS environment Skilled in frameworks such as Pandas and Jupyter Notebooks 4+ years experience with Databricks 2+ years experience working with the large commercial foundation models Strong AWS experience, including RDS, PostgreSQL, Dynamo, Elastic Search, Spark, and more Experience working with data scientists, ML pipelines, LLMs, and prompt engineering Experience working with large, semi-structured datasets like legal documents, application logs and financial transactions Comfortable with CI/CD utilizing Terraform, Docker, and Jenkins Experience working with and building RESTful web services Apply world class product delivery principles, from automated testing to CI/CD to security, monitoring, and telemetry Bachelor or Masters degree in computer science or equivalent technical area Location Suplari is headquartered in the United States and operates there and in Mexico as Suplari MX. We support a hybrid remote workplace. The rhythm of the company operates in the Pacific timezone. Candidates outside of this timezone will be expected to collaborate within it.
