Senior Payroll Consultant

Job Title: Payroll Specialist We are seeking a highly skilled Payroll Specialist to join our team. This role is primarily responsible for the timely and accurate processing of all salaried employee payroll on a weekly and bi-weekly basis in Mexico. Key Responsibilities: Process regular payroll, incentives, stock options, and vesting, as well as transactions that require expatriate/inpatriate processing, merit increase, and retroactive cycles. Oversee the end-to-end payroll process for corporate and plant employees, ensuring timely and accurate payroll execution. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of payroll-related regulations and implement necessary changes. Coordinate with finance and HR teams to ensure proper payroll accounting, reporting, and audits. Identify and implement payroll process improvements to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and compliance. Leverage payroll systems and technology to optimize automation and reporting capabilities. Ensure payroll-related data integrity and maintain accurate employee records. Address payroll-related inquiries and resolve issues for employees in a timely manner. Support HR with compensation-related data and analysis. Required Skills and Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in accounting, human resources, or a related field. 5-8 years of related Payroll experience. Extensive knowledge of payroll processing, compliance requirements, taxation, solid decision-making, attention to detail, and ability to adapt to changes in a fast-paced environment. Ability to use knowledge to explain and resolve complex situations. Knowledge of payroll processing and experienced in Payroll systems integrations. Desired experience in Setting up payroll in flexible benefits. Experience with payroll software and HRIS systems. Excellent analytical, and problem-solving skills.
