Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated Payroll Specialist to join our LATAM payroll team based in Guadalajara. This hybrid role is ideal for someone with a strong command of payroll operations across LATAM countries, excellent Excel skills, and fluency in both English and Spanish. You will be responsible for ensuring accurate and compliant payroll processing, resolving employee inquiries, supporting internal audits, and contributing to process improvement initiatives. Key Responsibilities: Input and manage mass data from timekeeping systems, production records, and timecards into payroll systems. Audit payroll documentation and make necessary corrections or adjustments prior to payroll processing. Generate and review comparison reports to identify discrepancies. Respond promptly and professionally to employee and manager inquiries about payroll matters (vacations, leaves, retro pay, tax concerns, etc.). Ensure all payroll requests and changes have proper approvals in line with internal and external compliance standards. Support payroll processing for multiple LATAM countries. Collaborate cross-functionally with HR, Finance, and Operations to ensure smooth payroll operations. Participate in special projects and continuous improvement initiatives within the payroll team. Perform other duties as assigned by Payroll Leadership. Required Qualifications: Location: Must be based in Guadalajara or willing to relocate. Languages: Bilingual – Fluent in English and Spanish (English proficiency will be assessed). Experience: Proven payroll experience, preferably supporting multiple LATAM countries. Knowledge of Colombian payroll legislation is a strong plus. Technical Skills: Advanced Excel proficiency – testing will be part of the selection process. Solid understanding of Microsoft Office tools (especially Excel). Soft Skills: Excellent communication and written skills. High attention to detail and accuracy. Demonstrated adaptability, cultural sensitivity, and teamwork. Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in a global or shared services payroll environment. Familiarity with payroll systems. Process improvement mindset and analytical capabilities. Payroll knowledge in multiple countries, including one or more of the following: Dominican Republic Mexico Colombia Uruguay Paraguay Jamaica Honduras Guatemala Panama
