Customer Service Specialist About Our Company: We are a leader in freight forwarding with headquarters in Taipei, Taiwan, and regional hubs in New York. We strive to be one of the top names in logistics and importing. Job Responsibilities: Build detailed customer profiles in our system so every department has accurate information. Guide customers with expert recommendations, helping them choose the best freight and logistics solutions (including preparing quotes). Coordinate shipment bookings and validate ocean/air freight from origin to destination, keeping customers updated every step of the way. Be the go-to contact for customer inquiries via phone and email—deliver top-notch service and handle special requests to strengthen relationships. Manage daily communications for assigned accounts and direct concerns to the right team for quick resolution. Send new shipment bookings to customers and confirm all ocean/air bookings. Track empty containers and ensure timely returns—or apply per diem billing when needed. Required Skills and Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in International Business or equivalent experience. About 1 year in an administrative or clerical role. Comfortable with Microsoft Office (Word & Excel). Great at prioritizing, thriving in a fast-paced environment, and customer-focused with a strong sense of urgency. Advanced English is a must.
