Avocado Sales Specialist The role: To establish long-term business relationships with each client by understanding their needs and identifying opportunities to maximize their profitability. To negotiate directly with end clients to ensure 100% sell-through of the fruit, while preserving and strengthening the business relationship. To provide technical information—such as pricing, market conditions, and regulations—to educate and inform clients throughout the sales process. Ability to quickly learn the technical and commercial aspects of the avocado industry Strong written and verbal communication skills Excellent interpersonal skills: outgoing, able to build rapport and develop new relationships from scratch Solid numerical skills to negotiate volumes and margins, and to clearly explain terms to clients Highly organized: able to manage and track multiple orders throughout the import/export process, from loading to final delivery Visa B1/B2. Willing to travel to the U.S. occasionally Benefits: Independent contractor based in Mexico Base hourly rate in USD + % profit-based fee Weekly payments One of the most competitive compensation packages in the Produce industry.
