Market Research & Expansion:Identifying potential B2B clients (distributors, retailers, food service companies) and analyzing new market opportunities.Prospecting & Lead Generation:Building relationships with key decision-makers, cold calling, networking, and attending industry events.Sales Strategy & Negotiation:Presenting product value propositions, negotiating contracts, and closing deals.Customer Relationship Management:Ensuring long-term partnerships by providing excellent customer service and support.Collaboration & Reporting:Working with internal teams (logistics, marketing, production) to ensure smooth order fulfillment and reporting sales progress.This role requires strong communication, negotiation skills, and a deep understanding of the berry industry and supply chain logistics. Develop new markets and open new retail customers (B2B)to commercialize berriesResponsible for increasing the market share and sales revenue Experience & BackgroundSales Experience:3-5+ years in B2B sales, preferably in Berries, fruits or fresh produce.Market Expansion Expertise:Proven track record in opening new markets and developing long-term business relationships in Mexico and desirably other LATAM countries.Industry Knowledge:Familiarity with the fresh produce supply chain, logistics, and import/export dynamics.International Sales (a plus):Experience working with global distributors, retailers, or food service companies.2. Skills & CompetenciesBusiness Development:Strong prospecting, networking, and lead-generation skills.Negotiation & Closing:Ability to create value-driven proposals and close high-value deals.Customer Relationship Management:Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to maintain long-term partnerships.Strategic Thinking:Ability to analyze market trends and identify growth opportunities.Problem-Solving:Quick decision-making and adaptability in a fast-paced industry.3. Education & LanguagesEducation:Bachelor's degree in Business, International Trade, Agribusiness, or related fields.Languages:Fluent in English and Spanish, both written and spoken, since this person will report to someone in the USA.4. Other RequirementsWillingness to Travel:Ability to travel frequently for client meetings, trade shows, and market visits.
