As a Continuous Improvement Engineering Intern , you will support initiatives focused on optimizing processes, reducing waste, and improving operational efficiency across manufacturing and logistics areas. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze data, identify improvement opportunities, and implement Lean and Six Sigma methodologies. You will report to the Continuous Improvement Engineer, and this position is located in Guadalupe, Nuevo León. Your Responsibilities: Assist in the identification and implementation of process improvement initiatives. Collect and analyze operational data to support decision-making. Participate in Kaizen events and continuous improvement workshops. Document current processes and propose enhancements using Lean tools. Support the development of standard operating procedures (SOPs). Collaborate with production, quality, and logistics teams to drive improvements. The Essentials – You Will Have: Be currently enrolled in an Engineering program (Industrial, Mechanical, or related). Basic knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in Excel and data visualization tools. Effective communication and teamwork abilities. The Preferred – You Might Also Have: Previous internship or academic project experience in manufacturing or logistics. Familiarity with Power BI, Minitab, or similar analytical tools.
