Production Manager

Responsible for supervising and directing the optimization of the plant process for the assigned functional area. Key specific responsibilities Responsible for maintaining a safe work environment. This includes correcting unsafe conditions / acts, facilitating monthly safety meetings, conducting safety inspections, and investigating accidents as required. Supports the development, implementation, maintenance and consecutive improvements of the internal System. Responsible for the overall safety performance of the production department ensuring that safety programs and procedures are followed. Responsible for maintaining the quality process in accordance with the processes and quality standards of internal Operations. Directs and coordinates the activities of the production function. Establishes and implements improvements for safety, quality and cost reduction programs. Assists and directs with experimental production and development activities. Maintains positive relationships with local bargaining units ensuring a high level of productivity if applicable. Initiates, renews, leads, and follows all standard operating procedures (SOP's) by area of ??responsibility. Access, enters and obtains information from the computer. Responsible for cleaning the plant. Establishes and maintains a climate of trust and security in its relationship with employees that will discourage interference from third parties; or establishes and maintains a climate of trust and security in its relationship with employees, as well as with their union delegates and representatives, which promotes the success of the plant and the goals of the company. Knowledge Work experience for more than 5 years. Certifications/Licenses/Others: Work knowledge of the following areas: production principles, practices, nomenclature, and procedures; company policies, procedures and products; Generally accepted management practices and procedures, business principles, legal practices, customer expectations and needs, and quality standards.
