Manufacturing Excellence Engineer

Join Our Continuous Improvement Team We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Continuous Improvement Engineering Intern to support our team in optimizing processes, reducing waste, and improving operational efficiency across manufacturing and logistics areas. Your Responsibilities: Process Improvement : Assist in identifying and implementing process improvement initiatives to drive business growth and efficiency. Data Analysis : Collect and analyze operational data to support decision-making and inform process improvements. Collaboration : Participate in cross-functional teams to drive improvements and implement Lean and Six Sigma methodologies. Documentation : Document current processes and propose enhancements using Lean tools. Standard Operating Procedures : Support the development of standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistency and quality. Teamwork : Collaborate with production, quality, and logistics teams to drive improvements and achieve business objectives. The Essentials – You Will Have: Education : Be currently enrolled in an Engineering program (Industrial, Mechanical, or related). Candidate Profile : Basic knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles. Skill Set : Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Software Proficiency : Proficiency in Excel and data visualization tools. Soft Skills : Effective communication and teamwork abilities. The Preferred – You Might Also Have: Previous Experience : Previous internship or academic project experience in manufacturing or logistics. Analytical Tools : Familiarity with Power BI, Minitab, or similar analytical tools. Availability : Availability to work 6 months in a full-time internship schedule.
