Welding Process Engineer Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly skilled Welding Process Engineer to join our team. As a Welding Process Engineer, you will be responsible for the development, optimization, and supervision of welding processes to ensure high-quality and cost-effective fabrication.Key Responsibilities:- Develop and standardize welding processes for various products and structures in alignment with engineering specifications. - Define welding parameters, procedures (WPS/PQR), and material compatibility according to project requirements. - Support production with technical troubleshooting and root cause analysis of welding issues. - Ensure welding quality and compliance with standards such as AWS, ISO, or ASME. - Collaborate with the design and quality teams to improve manufacturability and reduce defects. - Evaluate and implement new welding technologies, tools, and materials. - Conduct training and certification of welders based on internal standards and industry regulations. - Lead or support continuous improvement projects focused on cost, safety, and performance.Requirements:- Bachelor's degree in Welding Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field. - Minimum 3–5 years of experience in welding engineering within a manufacturing or metal fabrication environment. - In-depth knowledge of welding processes (MIG, TIG, Stick, etc.) - Familiarity with AWS/ASME/ISO welding codes and standards - Experience in WPS, PQR, and welder qualification processes - Ability to read and interpret blueprints and welding symbols - Proficiency in Microsoft Office and technical documentation tools - English Intermediate to advanced – required for standards, technical documents, and supplier communication.Benefits:- Competitive salary - Comprehensive benefits package - Opportunities for career growth and professional development - A collaborative and dynamic work environmentOther Requirements:- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment. - Flexibility to adjust to changing production demands and schedules. - Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to achieve organizational goals.
