American Securities and its affiliates have approximately $23 billion under management and are based in New York with an office in Shanghai.For more information, please visitandReporting into the Corporate CAPEX Management Systems Manager, the CAPEX Administration Specialist will be based out of Villagran, Mexico.**Responsibilities**:- CAPEX Budgeting: Collaborate with relevant departments to establish CAPEX budgets, ensuring they align with organizational objectives. Monitor budgetary allocations and reallocations as needed.- Spending Control: Implement and manage spending controls to ensure that CAPEX projects stay within approved budgets. Review and approve expenditures in accordance with established guidelines.- Approval System: Develop and maintain an efficient CAPEX approval system, facilitating the review and authorization process for project funding requests.- Vendor and Supplier Coordination: Engage with suppliers, contractors, and service providers to negotiate contracts, obtain competitive pricing, and oversee procurement processes.- Project Documentation: Maintain accurate records, including project documentation, financial records, and contracts, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.- Compliance Oversight: Ensure adherence to all relevant regulations, industry standards, and internal policies throughout the CAPEX administrative process.- Reporting: Generate and distribute regular reports to management, providing insights into CAPEX spending, budget utilization, and potential cost-saving opportunities.- Process Optimization: Continuously identify opportunities to streamline and improve CAPEX administrative procedures to enhance efficiency and reduce administrative overhead.Required Experience- Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, or a related field.- 5+ years of relative professional experience- Bilingual in English- Proven experience in CAPEX administration, budget management, and financial analysis.- Strong analytical skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions.- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.- Proficiency in financial software and tools used for budgeting and spending control.- Familiarity with industry-specific regulations and best practices.- Attention to detail and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.Preferred Experience- Master's degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CMA, CAMS) is a plus.Physical Requirements and Working ConditionsThe physical demands and working conditions are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
