As a Basic Research Engineer, you will lead analytical and numerical analysis to develop calculation methods and rules for transformer designs. Conduct in-depth research and development on solutions to technical and scientific challenges within Grid Technologies Evaluate the core technologies shaping upcoming grid technology products and solutions Collaborate with a global R&D and factory network to achieve common goals Support R&D projects focused on regional demands, standards, and regulations Provide expert advice to regional factory sites and engineering teams Develop theoretical models to address various technical issues across the product family transformers Degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or equivalent fields Experience in Finite Element Methods (FEM) Ideal experience in transformers and grid technology Fluency in English, adaptability, self-motivation, and focus on delivering results Analytical skills and systematic problem-solving approach Our team drives forward-thinking R&D activities like feasibility studies and development projects. We leverage our expertise to support local factories and expand our footprint in the Americas by addressing regional demands and regulations. You will initially work on transformer-specific topics, offering opportunities to grow into other areas of Grid Technology and beyond.
