Production Planning Specialist

Job Title: Production Planner About the Role We are seeking a skilled Production Planner to join our team. As a key member of our production planning team, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and controlling production activities to ensure efficient compliance with manufacturing schedules, optimizing resources, and meeting established standards of quality, time, and cost. Your Key Responsibilities Develop daily, weekly, and monthly production plans based on customer demand and installed capacity. Monitor and control progress to meet these plans as per master planning, adjusting as necessary. Coordinate with purchasing, warehouse, and logistics teams to ensure the availability of materials and resources. Analyze machine capabilities, labor, and shifts for efficient scheduling. Track key performance indicators (KPIs). Implement continuous improvement tools, such as Lean manufacturing, Kanban, and Just in Time. Manage work orders in ERP/MRP systems. Communicate changes and/or deviations in the plan to relevant teams. Support internal and external audits related to production planning. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Research, or related field. Minimum 3 years of experience in production planning or a related field. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems.
