Production Planning Specialist Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Production Planning Specialist to join our production team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and controlling manufacturing activities to ensure efficient compliance with schedules, optimize resources, and meet quality, time, and cost standards. About the Job: The successful candidate will develop daily, weekly, and monthly production plans based on customer demand and installed capacity. They will also monitor and control progress to meet established KPIs, adjusting plans as necessary. Additionally, they will coordinate with purchasing, warehouse, and logistics teams to ensure material availability. Your Responsibilities: Plan and Coordinate Production Activities: Develop daily, weekly, and monthly production plans based on customer demand and installed capacity. Monitor Progress and Control Quality: Monitor and control progress to meet established KPIs, adjusting plans as necessary. Coordinate Supply Chain Activities: Coordinate with purchasing, warehouse, and logistics teams to ensure material availability. Analyze and Implement Continuous Improvement: Analyze machine capabilities, labor, and shifts for efficient scheduling and implement continuous improvement tools, such as Lean manufacturing, Kanban, and Just in Time. Manage Work Orders: Manage work orders in ERP/MRP systems and communicate changes or deviations to relevant areas. Required Skills and Qualifications: The ideal candidate will have experience working with ERP/MRP systems and at least 1 year of professional experience in manufacturing or program activities.
