Key responsibilities include designing and implementing new tooling solutions, maintaining existing tooling to optimize performance, collaborating with teams to identify needs and streamline processes, adhering to quality standards and best practices, documenting designs and procedures, developing and implementing performance metrics, managing inventory and procurement effectively, providing training to team members on best practices and safety protocols, ensuring compliance with regulations and company policies, leading root cause analysis and corrective actions for tooling issues, and supporting lean manufacturing initiatives and cost reduction efforts.
