Security Specialist

Excellent research and analytical skills.- Exceptional oral and interpersonal communication skills with the ability tocommunicate complex information accurately, clearly, and quickly to all levels.- Experience in recommending and implementing security technology, including CCTV, Access Control, Intrusion Detection, a control center, and monitoring systems.- Experience conducting security risk assessments and making mitigation recommendations.- High level of professionalism, self-motivation, and sense of urgency.- Excellent verbal, written, communication and time management skills.- Ability to be flexible, adapt to change, work independently, as well as work as part of a team in a matrix environment.- Demonstrated success/results in prior roles including matrix organization.- Experience in transportation and supply chain security to include knowledge of C-TPAT/OEA requirements.- Bachelor’s degree or comparable work experience. Security credentials are a plus.- Minimum of 2 years’ experience conducting research and investigations related to Fraud, thefts, Supply chain security.- English Professional Level.- Prepare and present monthly safety reports status to Regional Security Manager- Seek feedback and provide continuous improvement development actions- Supervise employees to assure compliance with the established standards of physical security, electronic security, fire systems, etc.- Collaborate with Human Resources and People Matters representatives as necessary to discuss/resolve workplace issues.- Work with security systems to provide input for maintenance or installation of security systems equipment (CCTV, access control, etc.).- Implement updated corporate standard procedures and modifications to corporate requirements.- Conduct complex investigations across a broad range of issues.- Review company facilities and acquisitions to mitigate risks through appropriate security measures.- Provide sage advice and direction in all security related issues.- Perform complex analysis as well as ensure compliance with established security principles.- Conduct assessments of the facility to ensure physical security measures meet corporate and legal requirements.- Maintain productive liaison relationships with internal business partners and external service providers, law enforcement, government agencies and other entities as necessary.- Administration of purchases and payment of invoices of the security area.- Review and constantly update the site and regional security risk assessments.- Any general administration and ancillary activities as may be required and related to the above functions in accordance with the business requirements of the Company
