Electrical Designer

We Start with a training program to make sure you have all the knowledge to do the job.**Primary Responsibility**:The designer I primary purpose is to complete drafting for projects assigned to them in a timely manner and adhere to the company established drafting standards.**Description of Roles**:The designer I will receive direction from the designer designated as their peer resource and the peer resource will be responsible to train the Designer I regarding design and company standards. The designer I may be an entry level drafter just getting started or someone with mínimal experience. They will not directly interact with clients. They should be actively seeking to acquire the knowledge required to become a designer II and become more efficient with AutoCAD or REVIT.**Responsibilities Include**:- Check WFM for dates and project assignments- Attend and participate in all weekly department meetings.- Learn and put into practice all company drafting standards as determined by the Department Managers- Maintain excellent communication with other discipline designers and learn what coordination is required on projects- Perform all necessary drafting for project Collaboration with the project manager:- Provide daily and weekly updates on projects in coordination with the project manager.- Bring internal and external Issues to the attention of the project manager.- Discuss PTO requests and any attendance issues with the PM before making official request to discipline coordinator. Collaboration with Designer designated as peer resource:- Daily check-ins with Designer- Work with the Designer to schedule progress reviews- Work with Designer to determine best approach to designs- Request direction and guidance from the Designer and help to identify missing information required to complete the design- Ensure that client’s requests forwarded from the Designer are addressed- Monitor Workflow Max to identify missed deadlines or potential missed deadlines and discuss with designer.**Additional Skills**:- Design and coordinate multidisciplinary projects.- Attend meetings and communicate with the project manager to develop projects- Provide consistent level of quality on designs- Perform quality control reviews on projects.- Complete the design per local U.S. project codes and other requirements.- Ability to find comprehensive solutions to the challenges that may arise during the design.- Meet project deadlines while handling multiple projects.- Be a positive member of the team and assist in training others.- Please submit your resume only if you comply the following qualifications:- Must be able to work with others as a team- Mechanical Engineering degree is a plus- Knowledge of American standards is a plus- Experience in Mechanical HVAC, plumbing and related fields is a plus- Ability to organize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.- Coordination skills with other disciplines.- Proficiency in Autocad, MS Office, and Excel.- Autodesk Revit experience is plus.- Fluent in English and have communication skills both written and verbal.- Proven success in contributing to a team-oriented environment.- Self-motivated, disciplined and well organized.**Benefits**:- Medical Insurance- Life Insurance- Monday to Friday- Productivity Bonus**It is important to have experience with AutoCAD, Revit or both.**Tipo de puesto: Tiempo completoSalario: $16,000.00 - $20,000.00 al mesHorario:- Lunes a viernesPrestaciones:- Días de maternidad superiores a los de la ley- Seguro de gastos médicos- Seguro de gastos médicos mayores- Seguro de vida- Uniformes gratuitosTipos de compensaciones:- Bono de permanenciaIdioma:- Inglés (Obligatorio)
