Job Overview TE Connectivity's Materials Planning Teams are responsible for planning, scheduling, and monitoring the movement of materials through the production cycle. They determine quantities and order dates for materials to meet production or engineering schedules, initiate purchase or production requisitions compliant with supply agreements, and develop schedules based on forecasts and historical analysis. They also develop specifications for new contract orders, forecasts, and labor requirements, provide input on supplier performance, and monitor costs, schedules, and scope of subcontracts to ensure quality and value. Responsibilities Execute company reports and request appropriate stock levels. Create purchase orders in systems and communicate with suppliers. Review sales demand and initiate work orders. Coordinate with internal departments and production teams to ensure accurate inventory of raw materials and resolve discrepancies. Participate in meetings with production to verify goals and attend startup meetings. Support the planning team in daily activities. Qualifications Experience in inventory management, procurement, or supply chain roles. Ability to work collaboratively with production and other departments. Strong organizational and communication skills.
