Puesto: HSE Manager Rango Salarial: $60,000 - $75,000 Ubicación: Hermosillo Inglés avanzado requerido (Non-negotiable) The Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects related to HSE within the plant, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and industry’s best practices. It works closely with various departments to promote a culture of safety and environmental responsibility. Off-site, support project safety issues as required. Knowledge: Local, national and international HSE regulations; risk assessment; emergency response; environmental sustainability; Audits; HSE leadership. Industry best practices; waste management; energy conservation; relations with environmental authorities; ISO 14001 / ISO 45001. Software: ENHESA – Advanced ODISEO – Advanced ERGOSOFT – Advanced Microsft Office – Intermediate Skills: The HSE Manager must demonstrate strong leadership and communication skills to promote a culture of safety and environmental awareness in the organization. They must have planning, risk management, decision-making, problem analysis and teamwork skills, as well as the ability to implement effective health, safety and sustainability programmes. Functions: Provide leadership and guidance on HSE issues to foster a strong organizational culture in safety and the environment. Ensure compliance with local, national and international regulations applicable to HSE. Identify and assess environmental and safety risks, implementing strategies for their mitigation. Develop, implement, and update HSE policies, procedures, and guidelines. Coordinate and conduct HSE training programs for employees, contractors, and visitors. Investigate incidents and accidents, ensuring the implementation of corrective actions. Develop and maintain emergency response plans; Carry out periodic drills. Manage environmental impact reduction programs (waste, energy, sustainability). Perform HSE audits and inspections to ensure compliance and detect areas for improvement. Prepare HSE reports required by authorities and management. Manage the budget of the HSE department. Collaborate with government agencies and stakeholders to promote responsible HSE practices. Responsabilities: Ensure compliance with applicable HSE laws, regulations and standards. Promote a culture of risk prevention and environmental responsibility. Execute investigations and improvement plans related to HSE incidents. Coordinate with operational areas to implement HSE policies and programmes. Comply with the code of ethics, internal regulations and security policies. Areas Supervised: HSE personnel (includes brigades, contractors, external trainers related to safety and environment).
