JOB TITLE Intake Specialist JOB ID UZZPAM3 INDUSTRY Home Care/Health LOCATION LATAM JOB STATUS Full Time WORK SCHEDULE 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM EST (Monday to Friday) SALARY $5–$11/hour TARGET START DATE ASAPROLE OVERVIEWAbout the Client:The client operates a busy U.S.-based home care agency, providing support to patients and caregivers across various administrative and operational needs. The agency is seeking a reliable, detail-oriented, and compassionate Virtual Care Coordinator who can manage day-to-day communication and logistics, primarily in Spanish and English.About the Role:The intake specialist is the first point of contact for potential clients, responsible for processing new client referrals, explaining services, and coordinating initial home care services. This position ensures that all referrals for home care are followed up on timely, and that eligible clients receive services.Key ResponsibilitiesReceive and respond to inquiries about home care services from potential clients, their families, or referral sources. Gather necessary information from clients to determine their specific needs and eligibility for services. Utilize Epace to check Medicaid eligibility, and assist clients as necessary with removing codes blocking eligibility for Medicaid Long-Term Care services. Explain the agency's services, procedures, and policies to potential clients and their families. Assist consumer paperwork for enrollment and submit it to the compliance department final review, and processing. Assist potential consumers' Personal Assistants (PAs) with registration. Coordinate with the care team to arrange initial home care services for new clients. Respond to phone calls/emails, faxes daily. Communicate with clients, and insurance companies regarding enrollment status.Ensures timely response to MLTC queries. Log all referrals, and communication regarding client enrollment outcomes in Inflowcare database. Collaborate with coordination department to fosterRequired QualificationsFluent in Spanish and English (verbal and written) Previous experience in a healthcare or home health administrative role preferred Strong computer proficiency (HHA Exchange experience is a plus) Previous experience in sales, intake or similar Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills Ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Clear and professional communication with clinical staff, patients, and providers Reliable, proactive, and self-directed with a commitment to quality care ** IMPORTANT ** WATCH THIS QUICK LOOM VIDEO ON HOW TO GET HIRED:
