The EHS (Environmental, Health & Safety) Manager is responsible for ensuring full compliance with environmental, occupational health, and safety regulations while driving a strong safety culture across the plant. This role leads the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of EHS programs and partners closely with plant leadership and cross-functional teams to minimize risk, protect employees, and support sustainable operations.The EHS Manager reports directly to the Plant Manager and has direct responsibility for leading Environmental and Safety Engineering resources.Ensure full compliance with all applicable local, state, federal, and international environmental, health, and safety regulations while serving as a trusted advisor to plant leadership. Lead comprehensive risk assessments, hazard analyses, and incident investigations; Drive behavior‑based safety initiatives and manage permit‑to‑work systems, including confined space entry programs. Oversee environmental protection and sustainability initiatives, including waste management, pollution control, emissions monitoring, energy usage, and resource efficiency. Lead compliance with environmental management systems and standards such as ISO 14001. Manage emergency response planning, fire drills, and evacuation procedures to ensure workforce preparedness. Deliver training and awareness programs on safety practices, emergency response, and environmental stewardship. Foster a strong, proactive safety culture by actively engaging employees at all levels of the organization. Partner with Human Resources, Operations, and Engineering teams to seamlessly integrate safety into daily operations. Track, analyze, and report safety and environmental performance metrics, including incident rates and environmental impact data. Lead and support continuous improvement initiatives that strengthen safety performance, regulatory compliance, and sustainability outcomes.Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field. Minimum of 10 years of experience in environmental, health, and safety functions. Experience working in industrial environments such as manufacturing, construction, energy, or chemical industries. Proven experience managing regulatory compliance projects and leading cross-functional teams. Advanced English proficiency to communicate with corporate teams and other plant locations.Strong knowledge and application of local and international EHS regulations. Expertise in risk management, hazard analysis, and mitigation planning. Experience leading ISO 14001 or similar environmental management systems. Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to influence safety culture. Experience managing OPEX and CAPEX budgets related to EHS initiatives.
