With a combined track record of over 160 years across four continents and 22 production sites, RESRG's 10,000 skilled team members manufacture the latest exterior systems and components for the world's leading automotive manufacturers.RESRG Automotive is seeking you to join our team as a EHS Manager in our Irapuato, GTO facility!Your JobThe EHS (Environmental, Health & Safety) Manager is responsible for ensuring full compliance with environmental, occupational health, and safety regulations while driving a strong safety culture across the plant. This role leads the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of EHS programs and partners closely with plant leadership and cross-functional teams to minimize risk, protect employees, and support sustainable operations.The EHS Manager reports directly to the Plant Manager and has direct responsibility for leading Environmental and Safety Engineering resources.What You Will Do in Your Role- Ensure full compliance with all applicable local, state, federal, and international environmental, health, and safety regulations while serving as a trusted advisor to plant leadership. - Maintain and oversee all required EHS permits, licenses, records, and documentation to support compliant and efficient operations. - Proactively monitor regulatory changes and lead timely updates to policies, programs, and practices to ensure ongoing compliance. - Lead comprehensive risk assessments, hazard analyses, and incident investigations; develop and drive corrective and preventive action plans to reduce risk. - Develop, implement, and enforce EHS policies, procedures, and programs that protect employees and support operational excellence. - Drive behavior‑based safety initiatives and manage permit‑to‑work systems, including confined space entry programs. - Oversee environmental protection and sustainability initiatives, including waste management, pollution control, emissions monitoring, energy usage, and resource efficiency. - Lead compliance with environmental management systems and standards such as ISO 14001. - Champion a safe and healthy workplace by proactively identifying hazards and preventing incidents before they occur. - Manage emergency response planning, fire drills, and evacuation procedures to ensure workforce preparedness. - Ensure proper selection, availability, implementation, and use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). - Deliver training and awareness programs on safety practices, emergency response, and environmental stewardship. - Foster a strong, proactive safety culture by actively engaging employees at all levels of the organization. - Partner with Human Resources, Operations, and Engineering teams to seamlessly integrate safety into daily operations. - Conduct internal audits, inspections, and assessments to identify gaps and drive improvement opportunities. - Track, analyze, and report safety and environmental performance metrics, including incident rates and environmental impact data. - Lead and support continuous improvement initiatives that strengthen safety performance, regulatory compliance, and sustainability outcomes.Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field. - Minimum of 10 years of experience in environmental, health, and safety functions. - At least 2–3 years of experience in a management-level role, leading teams and operations. - Experience working in industrial environments such as manufacturing, construction, energy, or chemical industries. - Proven experience managing regulatory compliance projects and leading cross-functional teams. - Experience conducting internal and external audits. - Advanced English proficiency to communicate with corporate teams and other plant locations.What Will Put You Ahead- Strong knowledge and application of local and international EHS regulations. - Expertise in risk management, hazard analysis, and mitigation planning. - Experience leading ISO 14001 or similar environmental management systems. - Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to influence safety culture. - Experience managing OPEX and CAPEX budgets related to EHS initiatives. - Ability to manage critical situations such as emergencies, incidents, or regulatory non-compliance.About the CompanyWe are a fast-growing B2B company with a strong internal culture that values respect for others, diversity, serving a greater purpose, and passionate creativity.
